LIVING ON JELLYFISH
CASTAWAYS RESCUED. VANCOUVER November 24. The rescue of the castaways from the schooners Agram and Cinyx, which have been missing off the Alaska coast since October 1, involves a thrilling story. A tidal wave carried the vessels a mile inland on Kodiak Island, where the crews subsisted on porcupines and jellyfish till yesterday. The Yugoslavian schooner radioed and found the men alive but slowly starving. They are returning after suffering incredible hardships.
