EDUCATED “DOMESTICS.” PARTY FOR AUSTRALIA, LONDON, November 27. A party of domestics sailed by the Hobson’s Bay for Australia. Included is Miss Spence, a Dublin 8.A., who is accompanied by her sister, a university girl. She said: “We are out for adventure. I don’t think that many of us will remain long in domestic service.” bliss M'Clan, another of the party, who was‘educated at Girton College, described herself as the victim of the Government’s "“economy stunt.” She had lost- her teaching job through redaction of staff. After doing domestic service in accordance with the terms of her contract, she will look for a professional position. Most of the girls realise that marriage is their natural career, and they cherish the hope of meeting the right man in Australia.
