JUNIOR TOURNAMENT. The final games of the junior tennis tournament were playod on Thursday afternoon at the Otago and Cosy Dell courts. The handicap singles event was won by Miss M. M'Lood, of Columba College, who played from the bock mark, rfnd the runnerup was Miss E. Tipping, of St. Hilda’s College, with a handicap of 15. The handicap doubles event wa s played to the semifinal round, but owing to Matriculation and Proficiency examinations the girls were not able to meet for the final. The event has been halved between ,Misses N. Cunningham and *N. Gillanders, Coln.nba College, and Misses J. Tait And E. Pinckney, of St. Hilda’s College. .The younger girls’ singles was. won By Miss 'P. Motson, of th© Girls’ High School, with Miss H. Fenwick, of St. Hilda’s College, runnerup. those responsible for the management of. the tournament wore Misses W. Fusion, Z. Sanderson, G. Gray, and H.
