THE NEW ZEALAND COURT, ACCOMMODATION PROBLEMS. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyngot LONDON, November 14. (Received November 15, at 8.5 p.mJ Good progress is being made with the erection of the New Zealand court, and kinema hall at the Empire Exhibition. The concrete floor and framework have been completed, and the materials for the walls and the roofing tiles are on the ground. The building is expected to be ready late in January or February tor the mural decorations, which are being prepared in New Zealand. Inquiries regarding hotel accommodation in London at the Exhibition period suggest the advisability of making a prior arrangement, possibly through the High Commissioner. —A. and N.Z. Cable. With reference to accommodation for visitors in London during the period of the British Empire Exhibition, a number of suggestions hag been placed before the authorities to safeguard overseas visitors, who undoubtedly will find the obtaining of suitable accommodation, a difficult matter. Sir James Allen, the High Commissioner, has cabled ,tje follows: —“The Exhibition authorities are in touch with an organisation which proposes to acquire an hotel for the exclusive use of overseas visitors, and to attach thereto a bureau' for the purpose of registration of hotel and boarding-house accommodation. This will include a women’s section, particularly dealing with private householders and accommodation on the principle of house paying guests. It is hoped that this will meet the dominion’s requirements. Immediately full particulars are available they will be cabled.” TEMPLE OF BEAUTY. A WEMBLEY ATTRACTION. LONDON, November 1. One of the most notable trade shows at the Empire Exhibition at Wenablev will be a “temple of beauty,” the purpose of which will be to advertise- a famous brand of soap. In it will' be displayed representations of many historic beauties, including Helen of Troy, Cleopatra, and Nfell Gwynne. The “temple” will cover an area of 10,000 square feet. . , The beauties will bo chosen from the most famous mannequins and artists’ nfodols. Mr Frank Williams, the Australian artist, has been commissioned to do the decorative work, which will include a reproduction of Marie Antoinette s oedroom.
