STRIKE OF UNDERTAKERS
GRUESOME SABOTAGE. LONDON. November 4. There has been frequent interference with funerals in Cork, owing to the strike of undertakers. A woman and two men entered the mortuary chapel at, (lie Sisters of Mercy Hospital. removed a body from the coffin, flung it on the slab, and smashed the coffin to pieces, because it had been supplied by an undertaker involved in the strike. The nriests at all Roman Catholic churches In Cork denounced the outrage at to-day’s services.
