PRICE-CUTTING WAR CONTINUES. FURTHER DROP PREDICTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, November 12. (Received Nov. 13, at 8.25 p.m.) The refiners announce a reduction in the price of petrol by a cent. _ This brings the average wholesale price in the United States to approximately 13 cents a gallon, compared with 21 cents in 1921, and the retail price to 18 cents compared with 29 cents in 1921. Predictions are made that the retail price will drop to 15 cents in the next three months. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
