PRICE-CUTTING WAR CONTINUES. FURTHER DROP PREDICTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, November 12. (Received Nov. 13, at 8.25 p.m.) The refiners announce a reduction in the price of petrol by a cent. _ This brings the average wholesale price in the United States to approximately 13 cents a gallon, compared with 21 cents in 1921, and the retail price to 18 cents compared with 29 cents in 1921.
