SALE OF WORK.

A sale of work in aid of (ho Vicarage Fund was hold in Holy Innocents’ Church Hall. Leith Valley, yesterday afternoon and evening. In declaring the sale open, the Kev. C. 11. Statham thanked the Ladies' Guild for the manner in which it hud worked in order to make the function a success. The various stalls were well patronised, and the stallholders were kept busy attendimr to eager purchasers. Following were the stallholders:—Work stall—Mrs Neville and Misses Goven and Cox; fancy stall—Misses Johnson, Harper, and Anplegarth; bran dip, Misses Henson and Clarke; produce stall. Mrs Dickison ; refreshment stall—Mesdaifms Harbour, Davis, Anderson. Ashby, and assistants. A musical entertainment was provided during the evening, items being contributed by Mrs Moss. Misses Rita Clarke. M, Ait.ken, and D. Ashby and Mr Geoffrey Clarke.
