MEXICAN RUNS AMOK
INCIDENT / ON A TRAIN. VANCOUVER, October 24. ui’ A x Mexican passenger named Candelaria suddenly became insane as the Sard© Fe train entered Los Angeles. Ho drew &■ long knife and slashed everyohe he could reach in the crowded car. Three people were so frightfully wounded that they will probably die, and four others were less seriously injured. . The Pullman car porter fired two shots through the Mexican’s jaw without stopping him. Finally an unknown passenger felled the maniac with a coupling bar, and after a desperate fight broke his neck at the second blow.
