KIWI DEFENCE CLUB. A competition for prizes presented by MesSxs G. Stewart, E. J. Denny, and G. Ncwey was held on Saturday. The scoring taken as a whole was good. Both were successful in their respective matches by narrow margins. ’ The A team experienced fine weather, but a strong rear wind was blowing, and in consequence accurate shooting was difficult for both teams.
