A LUXURIOUS AEROPLANE. FOE RUSSIAN SERVICE. Association—By Telegraph—Copyrl*a» LONDON, October 18. (Received Oct. 18, at 5.5 p.m.) One of the most luxurious aeroplanes ever built has left for Moscow for air traffic. It seats seven persons in an elegant saloon lined with silk damask. A running water lavatory will enable the passengers to have a wash and brush up on long journeys.—A. and N.Z. Cable. SEVILLE-BUENOS AIRES SERVICE. ORDER PLACED IN GERMANY. LONDON, October 17. (Received Oct. 18, at 5.5 p.m.) The Zeppelin works at Friedrichshafen have received an order for four airships capable of carrying 30 passengers each to inaugurate the Seville-Buenos Aires sendee in April, 1924.—Sydney Sun Cable.
DECEASED FRENCH AVIATOR. LONDON, October 18. (Received Oct. 18, at 7.40 p.m.) The Daily Chronicle’s Paris correspondent says , the body of Maneyrol (the French aviator who was killed during the gliding competitions last week) was carried from Lympne to the Le Bourget aerodrome by a French aeroplane. The coffin was covered with the Tricolour, and was surounded by 100 wreaths.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
