YOUNG HELPERS’ LEAGUE.

ANNUAL FETE. Tho Dunedin Habitation of the Young Helpers’ League held its annual fete in aid of Or Barnavdo’s Homes in the “Archerfiqld” School grounds on Saturday afternoon. In declaring the fete open, tho Rev. W. A. Hamblett, in a brief speech, explained how Dr Barnardo began his great work of building homes for children. Ho congratulated the habitation on its maintenance of a cot in one of the homes, and expressed the hope that tho present year would be even more successful than previous years. The various stallholders were kept very busy during the afternoon attending to eager buyers, with the result that at the conclusion of the fete Tllß was ■ realised. Following arc the stallholders; Work Stall: Alesdames Shcrnan, Barr, Aloghon, Misses Montgomery, Thomson, and Lamiock, Cake Stall: Alesdames Barnett and Ash. Produce Stall: Alesdames Brown, Stephenson, Skinner, and Aliss Barclay. Flower Stall: Aliss Harbrow and tho Aliases Burton. Dolls’ Clothes Stall: Aliases Geddes and Collinson. Sweets Stall; Misses AlTntyro, Glendining, ami Peck. Old Girls' Stall: Old girls of the school.
