Angus Murray, who was sentenced in 1917 in connection with the Albert Park Bank robbery, escaped from Geelong Gaol. Using a small saw, he removed the stone from the window, squeezed through, made a rope from his bedclothes, scaled the walls, and got away in a waiting motor car.
