The U'arisbrook ground was inspected yesterday afternoon and provided no more rain falls it promises to he in fair condition. Bo*h learns have been training assiduously, and are confident of victory, consequently a, fast, open game should bo •witnessed, and a. close and interesting finish. Alhambra will meet, Southern' at, the Caledonian ground,, though it may ho necessary to change this ground. Dunedin .and Pirates will meet, a(. Tahnna. Park, and the Union and /ingari at Montecillo, while Mosgiel residents should witness a. good game between the University li and Taieri Hovers. Owing to the slate of the grounds till the second, third, fourth, ami fifth grade, matches have been postponed. Ground tickets are on sale at S. ffa cobs's and the Sports Depot.
