HOLY YEAR COMMEMORATION. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrignt ROME, May 29. It is stated that the Pope intends to mark the holy year (1925) of the Roman Catholic Church bv convoking an Ecumenical Council. This council will be a continuation of the Vatican Council of 1870, which was interrupted by political events, and whose labours were never reallv concluded. It is expected that nearly all the prelates of the Roman Catholic world will make a pilgrimage to Rome. The council will last for several months.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
