CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.

SEQUEL TO MOTOR ACCIDENT. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 10. As tho result of a motor car accident in Queen street on Tuesday, when a widow, Mrs Bessie Sharpies, sustained injuries from which she died yesterday, Sydney Murphy ami Thomas Laurence M'Quoid were charged in the City Police Court with manslaughter. Tho original charge against the accused was with having caused actual bodily harm. The accused were remanded for a week, and bail was fixed at £SOO each, and was forthcoming.
