Three resolutions will urge nationalisation of the land, for which the landlords shall be compelled to pay the economic rent, with the creation of a tribunal to which dispossessed landlords may appeal.—A. and N.Z. COMMUNIST PLOT IN TURKEY.

THE LEADERS ARRESTED,

CONSTANTINOPLE. April 30. Thirty arrests were made, including several Russians, of persons implicated m a Labour Day plot to depose the Turkish Government and substitute Soviet rqle. The movement was engineered by Russian Communists. —A. and N.Z. Cable. N.S.W. COAL DISPUTE. SYDNEY, April 30. The executive of the Coal Miners’ Federation met and considered the coal dispute. The decision arrived at was not made public. It will be telegraphed to the various lodges, which will assemble on Tuesday for the May Day celebrations.

OWNERS’ TERMS REJECTED.
