Alexander M‘Arthur (Wyndham), claim £1 15s 3d, tor goods supplied (costs, 3s); W. Gregg and Co. v. J. Murray (Timaru), claim £7 3s fid, for dishonoured cheque and interest (costs, 13s).

,Judgment Summons. -Booth, Macdonald, and Co. (Christchurch) v. VC C. Weir (Port Chalmers) on a claim for £3 Is, the balance due on the sale of a mare in August, ltl-21.—Defendant opposed the claim, but admitted writing a let ter (produced) to plaintiff, in which she said that she would assume all responsibility for the marc.—Judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, with costs (£3 Is).—-L, (I. Newton (Mr Sinclair) proceeded against Percy Willis (Mr Calvert) on a claim for £6 ss. for work clone and material supplied.—After the defendant and his wife had given evidence, the Magistrate) granted judgment for £2 14s, with costs (£1 17s),
