“TWELFTH NIGHT.’’ Another performance of “Twelfth Night, or What You Will,” was given by the Allan Wilkie Company in His Majesty’s Theatre last night in the presence of a large : audience, which followed the course of the production with the keenest interest and enjoyment. As on the occasjon of the previous presentation of the piece the members of the company made the best use •of their opportunities, with the result that an admirable interpretation of the play wa* placed before those present. The audience was not slow in recognising the merits iof the artists, whose efforts met with enthusiastic applause at frequent intervals. “A MIDSUMMER. NIGHT'S DREAM." Mr Allan Wilkie opened his Dunedin season with “ A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and to-night he will bid farewell to Dunedin audiences with a repetition of -■ this same comedy. Mr Wilkie will, ,of course, characterise the part of Bottom, the Weaver, the head of the band", of Athenian rustics who, in genuine farcical style, represent the tragedy of Pyromuß and This.be during the nuptial revels at the court of the Duke of Athens.
