FORESTERS

Although making an early start for the year, there was a fine attendance of members’present at the usual meeting of Court Pride of the Leith, on Wednesday evening last, under the charge of the C.R. Brother 11. Coster. Every member present was called upon and gave accounts of their experiences (luring the holidays, some of which proved both amazing and amusing. The toast of the visitors was responded to l,v O.R. Bro. S. C. Gillies, of Court Southern, Invercargill, and S.C.Tt., Bro. D. M. Mitchell, of Court Pride of Gore. During the past year the court admitted 100 new members, and is aiming at 150 for this year, with every prospect of gaining that objective. Before closing the meeting two nominations were handed in, Jtnd afterwards members and visitors enjoyed a friendly game of cards.
