The Daily Chronicle’s Paris correspondent states that it is now very doubtful whether the Siki-Carpentier match will be held. The sportsmen who offered £SOOO for the match now refuse to devote the proceeds to scientific laboratories unless they are first reimbursed from the match, Siki insists on the restoration of, hja license, and refuses to appear before a commission of inquiry.—A. and/ N.Z.
