RECALCITRANT TRIBESMEN
SEVERAL MURDERS ; REPORTED. PUNITIVE OPERATIONS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrig it CAIRO, December 12. Punitive operations are progressing against the Angessalna tribesmen in the Sennar district. They recently murdered five civilians and two nolice, and later attacked the police headquarters at Sodu, but they were beaten off. It is reported that a party belonging to the punitive expedition, mistaking their-comrades in the darkness for the enemy, fired, killing an officer and a private of the Arab Corps.— Reuter.
