THE CHURCH HOSPITAL PROJECT.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—ln your excellent account of the meeting in connection with the Church Hospital on Tuesday evening there is a matter which requires explanation. At the beginning of the meeting there w r ero certain papers distributed giving details of a similar movement to establish a church hospital in Christchurch. The Christchurch project is more ambitious than ours, and will involve an, initial expenditure of over £30,000. Ours will be on a rn"ch more moderate scale, and will not be more than £12,000. Of this it is hoped to raise a certain amount by subscriptions and the balance by debentures.—l am, etc., Isaac Dunedin. Lis Escop, Dunedin, November 24.
