THE SUN. The sun’s path during October will be in R.A. from 12.27.37 to 14.19.44_and in declination from 2.59.4 to 13.56.53 south. It will be in longitude from 187.3L9 to 217.17.8. THE MOON. The phases of the moon will be as follow : lull moon ... ... 6th 0.28 p.m. Last quarter 14th 9.25 a.m. New moon 21st 1.10 a.m. First quarter 28th 0.56 a.m. Apogee ... ... ••• sth 7.30 a.m. Perigee 20th 4.12 a.m. THE PLANETS. Mercury will be in R.A. from 13.46.29 to 13.12.33 'and in south declination from 14.51.21 to 5.22,45. It will be stationary on the 2nd and on the 23rd, in inferior conjunction with the sun on the 14th. in conjunction with the moon on the 19th, and in perihelion on the 24th. . Venus will be in R.A. from 15.16.33 to 16.27.29 and in south declination from 22.41.25 to 27.30.55. It will be at its greatest llel. Lat. south on the Bth and m conjunction with the moon on the 22nd. Mars will bo in R.A. from 18.47.1 to 20.12.44 and in south declination from 25.49.32 to 22.5.52. It will bo in quadrature with the sun on the 9th and in perihelion on the 13th. Jupiter will be in R.A. from 13.32.26 to 13.57.2 and in .south declination from 8.31.15 to 10.51.30. it will be in conjunction with the moon on the 20th and with the sun on the 23rd Saturn will be 'in R.A. .from 12.41.15 to 12.54.41 and in south declination from 2.2.52 to 3.26.6, It will be in conjunction , with the sun on the 4th and with the moon on the 19th.
