MR FRASER’S APPOINTMENT. o MR T. R. LEES APPOINTED SECRETARY. (Pin , United Press Assort vncnt.t WELLINGTON, ' May 4. An official announcement has been made by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board of Mr John Fraser’s appointment as general manager of the board. It is expected that Mr Fraser will take up his duties about "the middle of this month. It was announced, also, that Mr Thomas Rowley Lees had been appointed , the board’s secretary. Mr Lees is Controller / 0 f ‘he Department of Imperial Government Supplies, which has handled the whole of the Imperial Government’s purchases in New Zealand of wool. meat, butter, and cheese since the inception of the Government purchase in 1915. Mr T.oes will retain the position of Controller of the Department of Imperial Government Supplies until the completion of Imperial w'ool shipments and the close of the department’s I operations
