M'CULLOCH PRESENTATION COMMITTEE.

A fully-attended meeting of the M'Oulloeh Presentation Committee was held last evening, and presided over by Mr A. E. Usherwood. The following resolution was unanimously adopted:—“That this committee views with regret the fact that a sporting body like the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association should desire to revive anv feeling that mav exist in connection with the Sanders Cup contests, and whilst it is not the desire of this committee to criticise the officials of the association, it feels that in the interests of yachting in this community the disclosures and criticisms do not redound to the credit of any sporting body, and its action at present is to be regretted.” Satisfactory reports from all the members were received as to the measure of support that they were receiving, and the movement promises to be a very successful one. The question of the form of presentation was discussed at length, and there seemed to bo a general opinion that it should take the form of an illuminated address and a purse of sovereigns to Mr M'Culloch and the crew, bub it was decided to accept the suggestion in the form of a notice of motion, and finally decide the matter at the next meeting.
