On leaving .London aFCer a prolonged conversation with Lord Curzon, Izzet Pasha (Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs) stated that he was satisfied with his visit, and did not despair of the re-establish-ment of peace in the Near East. He insisted that all Asia Minor, with the Turkish frontiers, must be assigned to Turkey, with Turkey’s full sovereign tights over them. Turkey would accept freedom of the navigation of the straits conditionally on the security of Constantinople being assured. —Times.
