Time, Imin 46 3-ssec. BOXING. The excutive of the Otago Boxing Association met last evening, Mr T. M. Gillies presiding. The treasurer submitted a draft copy of the annual report and cash statement for the period ending December 31, 1921. It .was decided to place the same before the annual meeting of members, to be held on March 16. In connection with the proposed visit of a South African boxing team, the meeting considered that such a visit would' be distinctly advantageous to the sport in the dominion, and that any loss or profit on the proposed tour should be borne by all affiliated associations receiving a visit from the team. The secretary of the council wrote stating that the South Island boxing championships had been allotted to Timaru, and would be held during the month of July, the Timaru Association being responsible for alb arrangements.
