A telegram from a town in Louisiania states that Mr Harold Hulks, attorney for two alleged LW.W.’s who werq recently convicted on vagrancy charges, was kidnapped v by two masked men from the porch of his hotel, and was in am automobile to the outskirts of too . town. Ho was unmercifully flogged and put on a train which was leading the State: 1 He .arrived at Dallas, Texas, where he went to hospjtal for treatment. Another lawyer named Carney received similar treatment last week because he defended an I.W.W. alien.—A. and N.Z-.
