TEST MATCH MATTERS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 1. ’ Matters in connection with the third test match were discussed by the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugpy Union to-night. P. Singe, who was reported to have played League. . , _ Clarence Bezar (Wellington), James Scott, and Cecil Coyle (Hawke’s Bay), ex-League players, were reinstated. The Chairman stated that the date of the conference between New Zealand, New South Wales, and South Africa was practically fixed for September 15. It was understood that Soutlj Africa would egree to respect the representation on the English Union. The only difference of opinion would probably be in the amendment of one rule. Messrs G. Howe. G. VV. Slade, and H. Frost were appointed the New Zealand delegates. The training of the New Zealand team was discussed in committee ot some considerable length.—lt was decided _ to give authority to Mr Griffiths, the New Zealand selector, with'the assistance of Messrs Nicholson and Stuart, other selectors, to have full control of the training of the team, the members of which wull go, into barracks at Dav’s Bay. near Wellington, 10 days before the match for final training.
