OTAGO v. SOUTHLAND.

The 'representative maten between Otago and Southland, to be played at Cansbrook on Saturday afternoon, is expected provide a first-class exhibition of Rugby root ball. The Otago team is somewhat stronger than it was when it met Southland at Invercargill, and Otago supporters are hopeful that the local team will put up a better showing on this occasion. Coombes will replace Bain in the front row of the team to meet Southland tomorrow, Knox will play in the scrum in Turnbull’s place, and Davidson will replace Knox as wing forward.
