PRINCESS THEATRE
Lively entertainment is indicated in the now bill scheduled lor first presentation at the Princess Theatre this evening and succeeding nignts. Tne new act to-night will b.e i\lr .Randolph King, and he will be followed to-morrow evening by the debut of the three Gh'ton College cycling girls. Both these acts are of first importance. Mr .Randolph King, who comes direct to the Fullers from the Oxford Music Hall, London, is what is hnown as a “protean” artist; that is ho presents quick change pictures. Of Mr King’s work, a London critic said: “Ho contrives in a few short minutes to win golden opinons. His versatility is really prodigious. He introduces by moans of quick changes of costume and character a complete variety programme, including such contrasts as a French ventriloquist, a humorous vocalist, and the cracksman, who is about to rob an old miser, and other studies. The lastnamed is a creation instinct with grim humour.” Mr King will present seven characters in 10 minutes. The Girton College Girls are throe attractive young women who present a most sensational offering. The culminating feat is that in which one mounts a cycle on a pedestal 18ft high, slides down a chute, turns a somersault en route (machine and all), and landing, rides away. As mentioned above the first appearance of this act will be on Tuesday. In addition, new offerings are promised from such warm favourites as Gardner and Revere, Carlton and Rosslyn, Don. Wallace, Fifi and Eddie de Tisne, the Whimsical Wades, and Nellie Kolle.
