THE PROFITBERNG ACT. Press Association—By Telegraph—Conyright. SYDNEY, March 19. The Full Court decided that a person offering a commodity for sale is a seller under the Profiteering Act. In an appeal case the court decided that the offer for sale disclosed no evidence of unreasonable profit. . [A cable on February 5 stated: A case before the Profiteering Court is held up pending the decision of the Supremo Court whether the- person who offers an article for sale can be termed the seller. A Ann is charged with selling sideboards at 90 per cent, profit.] STATE COUNCIL OF ACTION. TO REGULATE FOOD SUPPLIES. SYDNEY, March 20. . (Received March 21, at 0.55 a.m.) In connection with the Williamstown Yard Conference representing' 95 unions, it was decided to form a State Council or Action, empowered to order the cessation of work and organise forces to take charge and regulate .the food necessary for the working class to live. FEDERAL SHIPBUILDING YARDS. SYDNEY, March 20. (Received March 21, at 0.55 a.m.) Mr A. Poynton (Minister for Home and Territories) has announced that the Federal Government to take over Cockatoo Island shipbuilding yards, and work them under a hoard of management.
