WAR MEMORIAL
A meeting of the Block Committee was held yesterday afternoon, when arrangements were made in connection with the various blocks, and, as there are still several blocks to be arranged for, these were left in the hands of the secretary. • A meeting of the Finance Committee whs also held yesterday afternoon, and it was agreed, to accept the design for the medal to be sold during the Memorial Week. The Secretary . reported that the suburban arrangements were moving along satisfactorily, but, in some instances, difficulty. was being experienced in getting people to join the various committees The hope was expressed that the citizens who have worked so well for all patriotic objects' during the past few strenuous years would come forward and assist Dunedin to erect a memorial worthy of the province.
