WAKAHI CLITB ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Wakari Tenuis Cub was held m the school ball ou Holiday evening, tho president (Mr iL Hodie) presiding. The report stated that the club had had a very enjoyable season, the courts huvinr, been well patronised. FOOTBALL.

MESHYTKRIAN BIBLE CLASSES. A Eugby football match between representatives of the Otago and Southland Presbyterian Bible classes was played last Saturday ou the Moutecilio Ground. The play tliroughouc was very oven, and in spite of tic wind, of a high order, lhc game opened with a series of determined attacks by Southland, but OCugo recovered, and ultcr much even play Mailocic scored at the corner. The second spell commenced with the wind in Southland's -favour, but tho superior weight and skiti of the Otago forwards was soon evidenced, and as a result Borthwieh,scored a try, which was converted by Wise. Towards the close of the game Southland made a determined effort, Stewart scoring a try which was converted. The game was controlled by the Itev. H. Maclean, and ended: Otago 8 points, Southland 6. Ihe visitors were entertained at a social given by the Boslyn Class on Saturdav night, and returned to Invercargill on Monday" night.
