Victory," tho Paramount dramatisation of Joseph Conrad's book, attracted very largo audiences to the Octagon Theatre on Saturday night, and commanded a unanimous verdict of approval. It will be shown again to-day. A fine comedy, "The Grocery Clerk," with Larry Lemon in the lead, and "Picca.dilly Jim," featuring Owen Moore, are tho mainstay of a splendid programme at the Empire Theatre just now. Tho _ current attraction at tho Queen's and King Edward Theatres is a seven-reel version of lan Hay's fine war story, "In Common Cause." A capital supporting programme includes a new serial picture, "Smashing Barriers." The daring stunts of Tom Mix may fce seen and admired for the last time at the Grand and Plaza Theatres, where "Tho Terror' is screening. Patrons are sure to find pleasure in this thrilling film and its interesting supports. The popularity of Chaplin never diminishes. "Sunnyside" is having a good run at Everybody's Theatre, and with the drama "Book to God's Country/ makes an attractive programme.
