AN INCENDIARY AT WORK.

(Per United Press association.) AUCKLAND, September 23. Fire at a foundry at Freeman's. Bay, owned by Messrs Claro and Warner, :e----sulted in a door and doorstep being, burned. Further damage was averted by the fire brigade. It was subsequently ' discovered that the fire had evidently been tho work of an incendiary, a s the charred remains of a kerosene ca.se wero found behind a door. Two largo belts were slashed with a sharp instrument.
