FIERCE FIGHT IN DUBLIN
MILITARY ROUT SINN FEINERS.
LONDON, September 20. (Received Sept. 21, at 5.5 p.m.) A party of Sinn Feincrs attacked a military lorry in a street in Dublin, and ordered 12 soldiers to hold up their arms. Some objected, but others opened fire upon the raiders, wounding two. The Sinn Feiners returned the fire. A sharp fusillade ensued until the Sinn Feiners were routed and fled, leaving weapons and threo prisoners. Several soldiers were seriously wounded, and two died. One Sinn Feiner is dead, and another is in a dying condition.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
