TO TJIE EDITOB. Sib,—As Empire Day, May 24, will this year bo the first which has occurred since peace was signed at Versailles on June 28, 1919, it is to be hoped that efforts will bei made to celebrate tho occasion in a manner worthy of the great issues which weio won for the world through the victory of the Allies over tho atrocious Germain conspiracy to enslave mankind. As deputy-chairman of the Empire Movement Commit too I appeal to all local and and educational authorities in New Zealand to consider how they may best take the necessary action in the matter. —I am, etc., London, March IG.
