IIuGBY. At Carishrook ICaikorai will meet Port Chalmers this alterooon, when an interesting exhibition of Rugby should be witnessed. At the Caledonian Ground Pirates will meet Zingari-Richmond, and this should provide a keen contest. At Bishopscourt a good game should be witnessed between Dunedin and University A. At Tahuna Park Southern will meet University B, and the Alhambra and Union teams will meet on the North Ground. ASSOCIATION. The cup competition will be advance*} another stage this afternoon. Chief interest will, no dcrnbt, be oentred in the meeting of Northern and Christian Brothers at Culling Park. Encounters between these teams in tho past have invariably produced close, exciting games, and it is anticipated) that to-day's contest will be 'ust as keenly fought out as any in past seasons. Both teams play fast, open football, so that an attractive display should result. At the Oval No. 1 ground, Old Boys play Greon Island, and as both teams will be anxious to improve their position in the championship table, spectators on this ground should witness a good game. Maori Hill and Mornington play at the Clear, and Southern journey to ICaitangata to try conclusions with the "miners."
