The Dominion Rubber Company reports that tho tapping for April yielded 21,3551b. Tho proceeds of January rubber were £3420, and the present price ia Is Bfd. Mt R. S. Black, Dunedin, who is the New Zealand agent for Messrs Funsten Bros, and Co., of St, Louis, U.S.A., where a' fur sale is at present taking place, has received the following cablegram from that firm:—''Skins: Bear, about 25 per cent, lower than in February; hair seals, about 30 per cent.-; reindeer, about 30 per cent.; opossum, about 26 per cent.; silver fox, 25 per cent.; wild cat, 30 per cent.; lynx cat, 30 per cent.; racoon, 30 per cent.; chinchilla, about 20 per cent.; ermine, about 25 per cent.; minx, 30 per cent.; Russian sables, Japanese sables, 12J per cent."
