LONDON, March, 15. i At tho meeting of tiie board, held at New Zealand Headquarters, Bloomsbury . ■ square, on tho 9th [March, tho Now Zealand Disposal of Surplus War Material , Board was dissolved. The demobilisation of tho New Zealand Expeditionary Force is nearly complete, and tho board, whioh was sot up in January, 1919, to deal with, the disposal of all surplus ; war material, has quito successfully fulfilled ■":■ ita function, while tiro prices realised for : tho various lota of equipment, ete., at the sales which have boon made', may bo considered excellent. Before binding up, Mr Goorgo Watson, of Glasgow, and Mr Alexander Crabb, of the New Zealand High Odmmiesionctf's office, London, paid , a tribute to the ability and courtesy of tho chairman of the board, Colonel G. T. Hall, C.M.G., C.8..8., whose ardwus duties, they remarked, had been carried on with groat credit, and wiih a minimum of trouble to the members of the board. The chairman expressed his appreciation, of tho remarks passed, and of the support ; and confidence which had always been accorded to him by members of tho board. Tho board also placed on record its appro- , ciation of the valuablo services as secretaries of (.lie board rendered by Lieutenant A. J. Ridlcr, Second Lioutenant F S. Cooper, and S.O.M.S. H. W. Harris, and particularly in the case of the last-named, during whoso term of office tho bulk of the sales by auction, etc., took place, and whose intricate and arduous duties havo been excellently OMTied out. Mr Watson (of tho firm of Mossre F«nscr, ROS3, and Co., Limited, of Glasgow) has ■been a member of tho iboard since its inception, and also hag acted as adviser to the New Zealand Contracts Board. ... .
