TAUPIRI MINERS' GRIEVANCE.

(Per United Pbess Association.) AUCKLAND, May 13.

There was no work at the Taupiri coal mines to-day, tho miners contending that there were not enough trucks for an all day's work, and that it was not worth while going underground for half a day. The railway authorities at Auckalnd state that' 93 trucks were ready at the mines this rru>rning, and that a sufficient number for a full day's output of coal would have been available before the afternoon.
