EASTER TOURNAMENT. Bowlers in Dunedin have been extremely fortunate in having an unbroken spell of fine weather for the Easter bowlinr; tournament, v"' wJiich was continued yesterdky. Play became centred on tho Dunedin Club's Orson, which was in fino playing and • very keen. Good progress was made- with , tho Pairs competition, and the Rink contests/: were completed, Poster (Caledonian) winning the Provincial Rinks with a ecore. of 19 against Hutchison (Caledonian), whose rink, compiled 12. It was a fairly evenly con-; tested game up to tho tenth head, when tho scores stood even, but after that Poster .■ ;, forged ahead. Tho tune limit of two and three-quarter hours expired when the twentieth head had been completed. The City "'. Rinks competition was won by Pryde (To . Rangi) with a score of 24 to Crawford's (Oingo) 23. In the game, between Prydo and Crawford, the To Rangi team had put together 7 before Otago started, and at the ninth end. the ' score etood at 15 to 3 in favour of To Rangi.,< -,, Crawford .played gamely, and at the conolji-,/ sion of the 17th head, had put together Jl'to ... his opponent's 22, but in the next Ibreeends' tho complexion of the game underwent a, ?„ complete change, the Otago link scoring, a brace of fives and a two, which placed them', one ahead.
