Tuesday, Septembeb 9. (Before Mr H. Y. Widtfowson S.M.) Drunkenness—A first offender'was fined the amount of his bail (20s), in default 48 hours imprisonment. Murdoch Macßay, ■who had been remanded for a week's medi cal treatment, appeared for sentence on a charge of drunkenness, to which he had pleaded guilty.—Senior Sergeant Murrav said that this was Ins third oJVenco within six months.—Defendant said that ho waa ft law dork, and had left his homo in SonthJand on account of ill-health.—Hi 3 .Worship inflicted a fino of 20s, with £1 16s medical expenses in default 10 days' imprisonment A prohibition order was also issued against him.
