{Peb United Pp.fss Association.) _ DANNEVIRKE. September 9. A fatality occurred at Tataramoa yesterday afternoon. Two brothers named Lovejoy, of Darmevirke, wore restinar after pig hunting. One- of them (Henry) was leaning, on his rifle, when the charge exploded, entering his abdomen and coming .put at his left breast. WELLINGTON. September 9. Tecce was working at Messrs Hewetson and Teoce's sawmill at Dovcdale yesterday he was crushed by a log, and received injuries to which ho suceumbod la=t night. Ho was a single man, 42 years of age. and had recently returned after years' s?rviee with the Expeditionary Force. While a roan nimed John Smith, a waterside worker, residing in Stono strer-t, Morniugton, was crossing Princes street, in tho vicinity of tho Gridiron Hotel, yosterday he was knocked down by a passing motorcar, and was severely- injured about tho head.'
