This will be tho only opportunity the public will have of seeing tho Otago representative team, play this year, and as the players are particularly good, a highclass exhibition should be given. Tho forwards are a solid pack, with plenty o» dash, wliita the backs are fast and nippy. The Souihland team is also a (rood one. and fc expected to put up a good game As a curtain-raiser, tho representative schools' match between Otago and Southland will be played. A match between-, the Shag Point and Waikouaiti teams was played at Waikouaiti or: .Saturday and ended in a win for tho latter team by 13 points to nil.
