MEMORIAL TO WAR VETERANS
A SOUTH CANTERBURY PROPOSAL. (Pee United Pbess Association.) TTMARU, June 23. Mr B. Craig's proposal to erect a town hall and miniature pantheon to commemorate the war veterans is enthusiastically endorsed by -tho Mayor, leading citizens, and returned soldiers. A meeting will bo held shortly to arrange the carrying out of tho scheme in its entirety.
