AMUSEMENTS.

At the Plaza the famous "Baby Grands," Jano and Kathedne Lee, in the comedy drama. " Swat the Spy," is drawing big crowds daily to this popular pioture house. It will be screened for the last time to-day. Commencing to-morrow, the management will screen a big problem play entitled Cheating the Public." The story deals with food profiteering and the child labour problem. The scene of the story is a factory town, and the life depicted there is declared to be a cross-section cut from human nature. The production, though strong in love interest, tells principally of the struggle of the people of the town to earn an honest living under almost impossible handicaps imposed upon them by John Dowling, master of Millvale. The well-known play "Fedora" was again screened at the Empire Theatre yesterday and attracted, large audiences at all sessions. The love affairs of the Princess and Count Vladimir were illustrated in the most interesting fashion, and the picture was well jo* seeing. The eighth episode of " The Eagle's Eye' 'and tho American Gazette completed a fine programme, which -will be repeated to-day.-An attractive entertainment is at present being submitted at the King's Theatre, where a large audience gathered again last evening. A specially pleasing picture is that entitled "The Ragged Princess," in which June Caprice and two clever children named Jane and Katey Lee play prominent roles. Further strength is lent to the programme by the Fox feature film "The Love Thief and by several other good pictures as well as by the inclusion of some pleasing vocal items. The same programme will be presented to-night.
