WELLINGTON, January 25. A fire on the property of Mr Charles Hake at Waingapa destroyed 2GO sheep and did other damage.
OEPJGSTCHURCH, January 26. The estimated damage by fire at the Post and Telegraph Department's store at Addington on Friday night is £10,350. About 22,000 yards of cable were destroyed. This material was to have .been used in the local underground telephone system.
