A BLENDED ARTICLE SOLD. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 23. (R&ceived Jan. 26, at 5.5 p.m.) Fair quantities o£ New Zealand butter are arriving. The trade hopes that the Food Controller will shortly distribute some New Zealand butter intact, instead of, as in recent distributions, so-called Government butter, which consists of Australian or New Zealand, blended with American, which is decidedly inferior in quality. Until recently the blend contained 50 per cent, of American. Now tho controller allows the blender to use a certain amount of discretion regarding tho quality of the American, butter used. There has been a suggestion that the American article should be issued to manufacturers only, but the supplies thereof, exceed the manufacturers' requirements. V —
